The Core Working Group

Robert J. Brem, MA, MC, LPC, NCC
Robert Brem earned a MA in Political Science and an MC in Counseling from Arizona State University; with advanced doctoral work in Public Administration & Public Policy as well as a certificate in non-profit management. He is a consigliere’ in private practice (life & career counseling and coaching and is an organizational & public management consulting).  As well, he is on the faculty with the CSU East Bay MPA program.  At College of Alameda, Mr. Brem is Chair of the Curriculum Committee and a resident faculty teaching Politics & Psychology.

Crystallee Crain, MA
Crystallee Crain earned a MA in Social Sciences from Eastern Michigan University (and a BA in Political Science from Northern Michigan University); with advanced doctoral work (towards candidacy) at the California Institute of Integral Studies.   She led the curriculum development team and teaches the violence prevention courses at College of Alameda as the Lead Faculty Member.

Megan Montague Sweeney, MA
Megan Montague Sweeney earned a MA in Political Science from San Francisco State University in 2008 and holds a BA in Political Science from Seattle University.  She is an instructor of Political Science in the Peralta Community College District and at City College of San Francisco.

Michael Goldberg, MEd
Michael Goldberg earned a MEd from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a BA in Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz.  He is the manager of the One Stop Career Center at College of Alameda.
